Front matters

It's my time in İstanbul
I am a systems administrator by trade. I have worked in many different environments and on many different platforms. When I just started out working with IT professionally I was very “religious” in regards to operating systems. Now I’ve know that the OS doesn’t really matters but it is the administrators running the systems that makes or breaks an operation. No operating system is better than the admins running it. Except from perhaps AiX and it’s self tuning ways. You have to love that, right?

On the home front I am running Apple computers with MacOSX. It is so easy to use for both my kids and my wife and me. The MacOSX is by far the best UNIX for any home user. The friendly user interface is very advanced and yet so easy to use. It really has everything and then it looks great too.

I am married and have two children. A girl and a boy. My children are without a doubt the most intelligent and well mannered kids on earth. I am sure that other parents will tell you different, but I know the truth.
When I have some spare time I like to spent it on the golf course. I just recently started playing so I am not going to write my handicap. But, man do I love playing. Teeing of a par 5 hole knowing there is a small cup over half a kilometer away that you golf ball have to end up in is such a great feeling. The adventure that lays ahead with lakes, bunkers and trees, it’s great!
